Found a Domain Cheaper Elsewhere?

Domain registration prices can vary between providers, particularly when limited-time promotions are running.

If you find the same domain extension advertised at a lower registration price elsewhere, please contact us before completing your purchase. Share the advertised price, the provider’s name and, where possible, a link or screenshot of the offer.

We will review the promotion and confirm whether a similar registration rate can be made available.

Why Domain Prices May Differ

A lower advertised price may only apply under specific conditions, such as:

• New domain registrations only
• First-year registration only
• Online purchases made through a promotional checkout
• Selected domain extensions
• A limited promotional period
• New customers or a restricted number of domains

The advertised price may not apply to domain renewals, transfers or existing registrations.

For example, a domain extension may ordinarily be priced as follows:

A temporary promotion may offer a significantly lower price for a new registration while leaving the normal renewal and transfer prices unchanged.

Registration Promotions

Where a promotional price is available, we may need to process the initial domain registration through a specific purchasing channel before adding the domain to your Modus Systems account.

This does not affect your ownership or management of the domain. Once the registration has been completed, the domain can still be managed together with your other services through us.

Promotional pricing is subject to:

• Availability at the time of registration
• The rules of the specific promotion
• Successful domain availability checks
• Payment being received before the promotion expires
• Any limits imposed on the number of promotional registrations

Renewals and Transfers

Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotional domain prices normally apply only to the initial registration.

The standard price may apply when:

• The domain reaches its annual renewal date
• The domain is transferred from another provider
• The promotional registration period ends
• The domain extension is excluded from the offer

Before registering the domain, we will confirm the initial registration price and advise you of the expected standard renewal price.

Requesting a Price Review

To request a review, please provide:

• The domain extension, such as .co.za or .online
• The domain name you intend to register
• The advertised promotional price
• A screenshot or link showing the offer
• The date on which the offer was seen

We cannot guarantee that every external promotion can be matched. However, we will check whether a comparable rate or suitable alternative is available before you proceed.
